Elections in Denmark 2007

•November 12, 2007 • 3 Comments

It’s time for elections and since there are no politicians worth voting for then I thought… You guys could vote for MEEEEEEE.

VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN

  • I promise you all busses and trains with ticket controllers imported especially from Pakistan so you can bribe them to avoid the actual fee and maybe a bit above that disguise
  • First job will be to station Pia Kjærsgaard (big time racist) in Pakistan, they need some good politicians there who can speak for the buddha popularity in Pakistan! And main Pia ka rishta kar doon gi Musharraf ke saath so expect a wedding invitations disguise
  • I’ll make sure that Føtex, Netto, and Bilka always have sale on Coca Cola and butter so that desis would learn how to control themselves when they’re out shopping and there’s sale disguise
  • I’ll make sure there’s bhangra concerts every week because of course on my invitation all the artists WOULD come disguise
  • I’ll buy my dad a proper car disguise

VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN VOTE FOR PUNJABAN

Sooo… Those were some of my great opinions and bills. I’ll look forward to be able to legislate all this soon :D

… And all that in small letters :p

If you have any problems with my opinions and you don’t agree then feel free to protest to my spin doctor (not me) and if you have any suggestions or you just feel like calling me and thank me for being such a good human being then you’re welcome to contact my secretary Sohnii at XXXXXXXX. lol.

And on a bit more serious note I hope all of you think properly about where you chose to put your mark tomorrow. Think about our future. And if you vote for Ny Alliance or Pia Kjærsgaard then you’re just a loser. lol.

Eid-ul-Fitr 2007

•October 14, 2007 • 2 Comments

What can I say… Ramadan’s sadly gone. It’ll be weird getting back to eating habbits etc. and the atmosphere won’t be as cosy as it’s been. Even know when I walk around the kitchen or preparing a meal I’m always so cautious of not tasting anything because it still feels like I am fasting… I hope to be able to pay my salaams to you next year again, Ramadan.

Eid mubarak

(Yes yes, I stole it from google!)

Eid Mubarak from Punjaban :)

Eid in Denmark was (by majority of theMuslims) celebrated Friday, 12th October.

P.S. I hope there wasn’t too much trouble in getting sight of the moon ;) lol.

Pakistan Zindabaad

As many other desis around the world I was also one of them glued to the TV…

So this is a tribute to the Pakistani team. Masha’Allah they managed to get far and they played extraordinary during the ICC World Twenty20… I had lost faith in them long time ago and stopped watching their matches but seems like the young captain Shoaib Malik has really made a great effort being their captain.

I enjoyed watching this tournament with my dad and brothers, all thanks to Pakistan!

I hated seeing Afridi becoming “Man of the Tournament”, he really didn’t deserve it. I think Misbah-ul-Haq did a lot better job… And in the last match the poor guy was under too much pressure.

And hats off for indian player Yuvraj Singh, amazing cricketer!

I must admit I was really sad and disappointed but Shoaib Malik‘s speach was heart breaking… His “sorry” was wayyyyyy too cute, but don’t you just miss Inzi’s ulti phulti speeches? :p

You were only 6 six runs away from the throphy but best of luck next time, Pakistan. I’m proud of you!

Ramadan 2007

•September 27, 2007 • 3 Comments

Okay. It’s like a year ago I came here… And I’m not going to make further comments on it. Let’s just say I got busy, I lost interest, I graduated college, I was in Pakistan for 2 months, started university and I needed some time off before I could focus about my real blog-breakthrough. lol. Ok ok. I’m really ashamed about it. Sorry peeps. I know you missed me :D

Well, lets get to the topic! I saw this beautiful gallery called “Ramadan 2007″ on MSN but its in Danish so I’m going to translate and share it with you :) It warmed my heart and I certainly hope it will do the same for your hearts and minds.

Ramadhan is at it’s peak and the code words are mercy, forgiveness and of course faith.

Ramadan1

The streets in Egypt’s capital Cairo are decorated to emphasise the Muslim fast month – Ramadhan.

Ramadan2

Tarawih in Indonesia a day before Ramadhan’s start. Muslims gathered in Istiqbal Mosque in Jakarta.

Ramadan3
A Pakistani store owner are setting the tasbeeh’s in his store so they’re ready for sale in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Ramadan4
Indonesian men praying Tarawih second day of Ramadhan.

Ramadan5
A Muslim man praying in front of a mosque in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ramadan6
Dhuhr prayer in front of a mosque in India, Bombay.

… and this is where i stop. Why? Because I believe MSN are racists. There was definitely this gallery the other day and now it’s just gone even though all other old articles and galleries are there. And I was too stupid to save the link but I managed however to save these pictures… Well nothing to do about that. At least I managed to write and post something :D

Enjoy Ramadan while it’s here! And try to catch up on all the forgotten ibadaah insha’Allah…
